Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa – The Explorers lacrosse team fell to the road to the Penn Quakers.
 
This gives La Salle an 0-2 record to start the 2023 season.
 
How it Happened –

• The Quakers opened the scoring early and often in today's contest.
• Freshman, Grace Lord, showed strong skills in the first quarter as she tallied three draw controls for the Explorers.
• Julia Dellaratta scooped up three groundballs in the second quarter for La Salle in an effort that kept the teams even on groundballs in that quarter.
• Alana Lathan had two shots in the second quarter for La Salle.
• Late in the fourth quarter Ellen Stickney scored for La Salle on a free position shot.

 
 
Inside the Numbers –

• Lord led the Explorers with four total draw controls.
• Freshman, Sam Klein, caused the most turnovers for La Salle with two.
• Raquel Nieves and Julia Dellaratta each had four groundballs throughout the contest.
• Ellen Stickney scored her second goal of the season.
