PHILADELPHIA, PA. – La Salle women's lacrosse returns to McCarthy Stadium on Wednesday, March 1
st at 3:00 p.m. after a three-game road-trip to start the season against Lehigh.
The Explorers enter the contest 0-3, while the Mountain Hawks come in at 3-1.
Scouting the Explorers –
- The Explorers faced a tough Villanova team their last time out and fell 7-16.
- Maddie Henderson and Mackenzie Click had two goal each against Nova.
- With those two goals, Henderson now sits at the top of the scoring list for La Salle this season having scored four total through the first three games.
- In the team's last game, they took a season-high 21 shots, seven of which came from Click.
- The team went 17-20 in clears against Villanova.
- These two teams faced off last season and Lehigh came out on top with a 13-5 victory.
Scouting the Mountain Hawks –
- After losing their first game of the season to Delaware, Lehigh comes into tomorrow on a three-game winning streak.
- Most recently they beat Saint Francis 15-5.
- Junior attacker, Olivia Memeger, leads the team with 12 goals scored this season.
- Emma Eberhardt has a team-leading 27 shots taken thus far in the 2023 season.
- Hayley Hunt has started all four games in goal for Lehigh. She comes into the game with a 0.558 save percentage and 29 saves overall.
