FAIRFAX, Va. – Explorers women's lacrosse is set to face the George Mason Patriots tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
Both teams enter tomorrow in search of their first win of the 2023 season.
Scouting the Explorers –
- La Salle most recently played UMBC this past Tuesday and fell 18-8, but Tori Rolon scored a hat trick for the Explorers.
- Alana Lathan added two goals for the Explorers in their last game and now sits atop the leader board in goals for La Salle with nine this season.
- Maddie Henderson and Claudia Steinmetz each sit with eight goals. Henderson also leads the team in draw controls having secured 20.
- Katie Johnson continues to be a reliable scorer for La Salle as she added another goal against UMBC and an assist.
- Goalie, Julia Dellaratta, has started every game for La Salle this season and enters tomorrow with a .400 save percentage.
Scouting the Patriots –
- Mason is recently coming off a loss to Saint Joe's 19-0.
- Shannon Tuozzo leads the Patriots this season in scoring with 13 total goals.
- Lauren Distad is one to look out for in draw controls as she has corralled 18 thus far in 2023.
- Meghan Deehan has spent most of the season between the pipes for Mason and enters with a .372 save percentage.
