RICHMOND, Va. – La Salle lacrosse will return to the field tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. to face the 10-3 Spiders.
La Salle will be competing for their first win of 2023 in tomorrow's game.
Scouting the Explorers –
- La Salle fell in their last time out to Philly rival St. Joseph's 13-4.
- Maddie Henderson led the charge in that game for the Explorers as she tallied two points, one goal and one assist.
- Henderson is the team leader in goals scored this season with 13 total finding the back of the net.
- Katie Johnson also scored for La Salle against the Hawks. That goal continued her scoring streak of five games with a goal. She's scored seven in that span.
- Julia Dellaratta has started all 11 games for La Salle this season and enters tomorrow with a .378 save percentage.
Scouting the Spiders –
- Richmond dropped their third game of the season this past Wednesday to No. 4 ranked JMU 20-10.
- Three separate Spiders had multi-goal games against JMU.
- Senior midfielder, Lindsey Frank, leads the way in goals scored for Richmond in 2023 with her 39 goals.
- Arden Tierney is the draw-control specialist for Richmond as she has corralled 105 total thus far in the season.
- Daniela Stelcer has started seven games in goal for Richmond and has a .350 save percentage.
