NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the home and away pairings for the 2023-24 season on Monday. The upcoming season will once again feature an 18-game league slate for the 15 members of the conference.
La Salle will play home-and-home series against four opponents – George Washington, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's. The Explorers also host regular season and conference champion VCU plus Dayton and Saint Louis, which finished in the top four in the A-10 during the regular season. The Explorers will also play George Mason and St. Bonaventure at home.
La Salle will hit the road to take on Davidson, Duquesne, Fordham, and Richmond. The Explorers will also visit Loyola Chicago for the first time in almost 30 years this season.
The complete 2023-24 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be released at a later date. There will be 135 conference games this upcoming season which will allow teams to face each league opponent once and four teams twice. The 2024 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship will be played March 12-17 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The Explorers begin their 93
rd season in program history and their 27
th season in the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2023-24. The Explorers are coming off a 2022-23 season in which they advanced to the A-10 Tournament quarterfinals for the first time since 2015 and won two games in the tournament for the first time since 2002.
