NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The 2023 men's soccer preseason rankings for the A-10 Conference were released Monday morning, and La Salle was voted to be 12th in the polls.

The reigning A-10 Champions, Saint Louis Billikens, were voted unanimously as the top team in the A-10 after earning 195 total points, and 13 first-place votes.

The returning A-10 Conference Rookie of the Year Basit Umar and the Dayton Flyers tallied 161 total points and have been voted second in the preseason polls.

Entering their second year in the A-10 Conference, the Loyola Chicago Ramblers are third in this year's preseason polls after posting a 9-2-7 (3-2-3 conference) record last season. The Ramblers fell to Saint Louis in the A-10 Championship match via penalty kicks to end their successful first season.

The Explorers are coming into the 2023 season after a 5-9-4 (3-3-2 conference) season and a close loss (2-1) to Duquesne in the A-10 Championships quarterfinals. The team went on a late season two-game winning streak to help propel them into the playoffs.
