NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released its 2023-24 men's basketball schedule and television selections on Wednesday.
The A-10 schedule will feature a league-record 135 games, including 79 nationally televised and digitally produced games, and every home game will be available to A-10 fans across the league's three media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports, either on television or through streaming platforms.
La Salle will open its A-10 slate against George Mason on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center.
After the A-10 opener against the Patriots, the Explorers will be featured on national television four straight times, beginning with a game on USA Network against Fordham on Saturday, Jan. 6 at noon at Fordham. Then, the Explorers will have a televised game against Massachusetts on NBC Sports through the NBC Sports App on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at Massachusetts.
On Saturday, Jan. 13 at 12:30 p.m., the Explorers will be featured on USA Network for the second time in a week when they host VCU at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center. The Explorers' fourth nationally televised game in a row will be the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day rivalry game on Monday, Jan. 15 against Saint Joseph's, airing on CBS Sports Network for the third straight year as part of a special A-10 doubleheader in honor of the holiday.
The Explorers will be on national television two more times after that. The rematch with the Hawks on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center will air on one of ESPN's networks. Then, the Explorers will appear on USA Network on Sunday, Feb. 25 when they host Rhode Island, beginning at noon. All games not carried as part of the A-10's national television package will stream live on ESPN+.
Other home games for the Explorers include weekend games against Massachusetts (Feb. 17) and George Washington (March 2). La Salle also plays host to Dayton (Jan. 23), Saint Louis (Feb. 7), and St. Bonaventure (Feb. 21). Remaining road games include George Washington (Jan. 27), URI (Jan. 31), Richmond (Feb. 10), Davidson (Feb. 13), Duquesne (Feb. 28) and Loyola Chicago (March 9).
