PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team will host Senior Day this Saturday at McCarthy Stadium as the Duquesne Dukes visit Philadelphia. Nine Seniors will be honored,

Ricshya Walker,
Olivia Vricella,
Stella Kahn, and
Myana Bebee-Gomberg will be honored for the Explorers. The game will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS
- La Salle has earned results in its last five matchups. The Explorers most recently took down George Washington, 3-1, for its first A-10 win of the season. DiElmo, Alexis Garcia, and Gschrey scored for the Explorers.
- Gschrey leads the Explorers with eight goals, tying her team-leading total from last season. She is fifth all time in La Salle career goals scored with 22.
- Michela Auguadro is the starting goalkeeper for La Salle. She is only the second player in program history who has reached the 20 clean sheet mark.
- Balance has become La Salle's calling card this season. The Explorers rank fourth in both total offense (1.9 GPG) and eighth goals allowed (1.1). Only Dayton and Saint Louis rank above the Explorers in both categories.
- Gschrey also is tied for second in the league in assists with six.
- The Explorers are led by head coach Paul Royal, who enters his 22nd season at the helm. Royal is one of the top coaches in the Atlantic 10, earning five trips to the NCAA Tournament during his tenure and has sent 16 players to the professional ranks. He was voted A-10 Coach of the Year for the fifth time last season.
- Royal has amassed 218 wins in his head coaching career. He ranks 18th among active D1 coaches in wins at a single institution.
SCOUTING THE DUKES
- Duquesne is 8-5 this season. The Dukes are 2-4 in A-10 play.
- Duquesne has two elite goal scorers in Margey Brown and Brianna Moore, both have scored eight goals this season with Brown also contributing five assists.
- Al Alvine leads the team in his 13th season. This is his 23rd season coaching NCAA soccer, he is 222-167-47 in his career and 92-104-29 on the bluff.
