MECHANICSVILLE, Va. – La Salle cross country runners
MacCallum Rowe and
Gwenno Goode have each been named the Most Outstanding Performer following the Atlantic 10 Championships, which was announced Saturday afternoon.
Rowe won the individual title at the Atlantic 10 Championships, crossing the line in 23:37.9. His time broke the record for fastest 8k time in the conference championships. That record had stood for 39 years.
Goode also won the individual title at the conference championship meet, finishing the 6k in a time of 20:10.4. Her time was 28 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
The teams will next compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet on Friday, Nov. 15, which starts at 12:00 p.m.
