PHILADELPHIA – The game times for the 2024 Toyota Women's Big 5 Classic were released yesterday afternoon. The inaugural event will be held at Villanova's Finneran Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 6. The start times for the tripleheader will be 3:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m., and 8 p.m.

All three games played on Dec. 6 will be aired on NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus.
 
This year marks the 44^th year of basketball within the Big 5. In 2024-25, the Big 5 will expand to six teams this season as Drexel University will become a member of the pre-existing schools.
 
The format is as follows: the six schools will be separated into two pods: Pod 1: Temple, La Salle, and Drexel; Pod 2: Villanova, Saint Joseph's, and Penn. The teams will compete with the other schools in their pod at their individual on-campus arenas. On Dec. 6, all six teams will compete in the tripleheader, with the first seed in each pod competing for the Big 5 Championship. The respective second and third seeds will also face off on Dec. 6.
