Women’s Soccer 2024 Slate Announced

PHILADELPHIA — The La Salle women's soccer team has unveiled its schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The 18-game schedule is set to start on Aug. 15 and features eight home matches. 
 
The Explorers will begin their season with four straight road games. The team will open the season with an in-state matchup at Bucknell on Aug. 15 at 5 p.m. La Salle will follow that match up with Sacred Heart on Aug. 18 (noon) and James Madison on Aug. 22 (7 p.m.). Last season, the Dukes earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Explorers will conclude its road trip at Delaware on Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.  
 
La Salle kicks off the home portion of the schedule with a Sunday battle vs Stony Brook at 1 p.m. on Sep. 1. The Explorers will continue its homestand with matchups vs Colgate on Sep. 5 at 6 p.m. and Big 5 rival Temple on Sep. 8 at 1 p.m. The non-conference slate will wrap up at Lehigh on Sep. 12 and 6 p.m.
 
The Atlantic-10 schedule will open up with Rhode Island on the road on Sep. 19 (7 p.m.). The squad will then play back-to-back home games versus archrival Saint Joseph's and Davidson. The Hawks will visit on Sep. 22 at 1 p.m., with the Wildcats coming to 20th and Olney on Sep. 26 at 7 p.m. The Explorers will close out the month with its longest trip of the season to Loyola Chicago on Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. eastern.
 
October will begin with a pair of foes hailing from the Washington D.C. metro area. The Explorers will pay a visit to George Mason on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. and host George Washington on Oct. 6 at 1 p.m.
 
The team will wrap the regular season with four alternating home and road matchups. After a home duel with cross-state foe Duquesne on Oct. 12 at noon, La Salle will head to Ohio to face off against Dayton on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. The final game of the regular season will be a rematch of last season's Atlantic-10 Championship game against Saint Louis on Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. The regular season finale will take place at Richmond at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 27.
 
After the regular season, the Atlantic 10 Championship will take place at campus locations, beginning Nov. 1.
