Abby Boggs Earns Atlantic 10 Co-Defensive Player Of The Week Honors

Washington, DC – La Salle field hockey junior keeper Abby Boggs has been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Boggs saved seven shots in regulation, before denying four straight penalty strokes in the shootout, leading the Explorers to their third straight victory and second Atlantic 10 victory. She currently ranks seventh in the NCAA in saves per game.

The team will continue conference play against VCU on Friday, before returning home to play LIU.
