Philadelphia, PA - La Salle University Women's Golf is proud to announce the launch of its South Carolina Trip Initiative, supporting the team's participation in the Battle at the Beach Tournament, hosted by Stonehill College in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, from February 20–22, 2026.
Early-season playing opportunities are essential for growth. With winter conditions in Philadelphia limiting course access, this tournament offers La Salle Women's Golf a critical chance to begin its season strong, sharpen skills, and compete against top-tier opponents.
"Getting on the course early is one of the most important ways for programs to improve," said head coach Samantha Quigley. "Participating in the Battle at the Beach will elevate the overall quality and reputation of our program, strengthening recruiting efforts and long-term success."
The South Carolina Trip Initiative aims to offset key expenses associated with the tournament, including travel, entry fees, lodging, food, and supplies. The program notes that this opportunity would not be possible without the generosity of alumni, friends, and supporters.
Contributors to the initiative will play a direct role in helping La Salle's student-athletes feel confident, prepared, and valued, giving them the best possible chance to compete at a high level and proudly represent 20th and Olney.
