PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's basketball team will play its final regular season game of the season on Saturday, as the Explorers welcome VCU to John E. Glaser Arena at 2:00 pm.

Prior to Saturday's game, La Salle will honor graduate students
Mackenzie Daleba and
Jolene Armendariz.
After transferring to La Salle from Fairfield, Daleba has started 19 times this season and is currently the team leader in rebounds with 5.2 boards per game. Daleba has scored in double figures five times this season with two-double-doubles, including an 11 point, 18 rebound performance against Duquesne.
In her second season at La Salle, Armendariz has appeared in 29 games, highlighted by back-to-back games of 15 points against Richmond and 20 points against Saint Louis that included 11 three-pointers in a two-game span. Armendariz has played 58 games in a La Salle uniform after transferring from San Francisco State and has 929 career points going into this weekend.
The Series
VCU leads the all-time series between the two teams 10-4 and swept the regular season series against the Explorers a year ago. La Salle's last win over the Rams came in 2022, a 77-57 victory at home.
Scouting The Rams
VCU enters Saturday's game with a 12-17 overall record and has lost two straight games going into this weekend. The Rams are 6-11 in Atlantic 10 action and 5-6 on the road this season.
Stealing The Ball
La Salle ranks 82
nd nationally with 9.3 steals per game, which is good for fourth in the Atlantic 10. Despite missing significant time due to injury, sophomore
Aryss Macktoon ranks third in the league with 56 steals on the season. Macktoon had five steals against Fordham on Wednesday.
Consistency Is Key
Junior
Ayisse Magassa is the lone Explorer to start all 30 games this season. Magassa leads the team in offensive rebounds with 62. Additionally, she leads the Blue and Gold in field goal percentage at 44.5%.
Crashing The Boards
The Explorers' 31 defensive rebounds against St. Bonaventure last Saturday were the most the squad had in a game since its Jan. 22 game against Duquesne.
La Salle averages 12.7 offensive rebounds per game, which is 80
th nationally.
The Magic Formula
The Explorers are 4-1 on the season when allowing fewer than 55 points. La Salle is 6-1 on the season when scoring 65 or more points.
