Track & Field Race In Raleigh Relays And Monmouth Opener Over Weekend

PHILADELPHIA – La Salle track and field competed in two meets this past weekend, racing in the Raleigh Relays Thursday and Friday, and in the Monmouth Season Opener Saturday afternoon.

HOW THEY FINISHED (RALEIGH RELAYS):

For the men, Matt Hill and MacCallum Rowe raced in the 10k. Rowe's time of 28:21.64 got him 12^th place overall.
In the 3k steeple, Gwenno Goode placed third overall with a time of 9:56.8. Her time is currently the third fastest time in the NCAA in the event.
To finish the meet, Helene Usher got tenth with a time of 34:13.65.

HOW THEY FINISHED (MONMOUTH SEASON OPENER):

In the women's 200-meter dash, Nevaeh Davis placed third with a time of 24.18, a new program record.
Soleil Morrison got eighth in the same event, finishing in 25.2.
Kasi Brown recorded a triple jump of 11.29 meters, good for seventh place.
On the men's side, the 4x400-meter relay team of Hamidou Samasa, Evan Dias, Gavin Andrews, and Justice Quainoo worked together to get seventh place.
The relay squad of Adaugo Ilonze, Viola Clay, Morrison, and Davis got second 4x100-meter relay.

UP NEXT

Both teams resume competition next weekend, racing in the Sam Howell Invite, hosted by the University of Princeton. The meet will start at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
