Box Score St. Bonaventure, NY – La Salle women's lacrosse dropped its first Atlantic-10 game of the season, as the St. Bonaventure Bonnies defeated the Explorers. A second quarter outburst from the hosts led to a 17-7 win for the Bonnies.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bonnies scored the first three goals of the game, followed by a score by junior midfielder Sam Klein to make it 3-1 with 7:35 left in the first.
- After the hosts quickly responded, senior attacker Katie Johnson scored 25 seconds after that tally to get it back within two halfway through the frame.
- Entering the second quarter, the Bonnies got a hold of the frame, scoring six of the seven goals in this span. Junior attacker Emi Waldron recorded the Explorers goal in the quarter, getting it with 1:57 left before the half.
- La Salle scored with 12:05 left in the third to get its fourth goal of the game, thanks to a strike from Johnson again.
- St. Bonaventure added a few more, followed by a successful shot by sophomore attacker Kate Licciardi to get the Explorers' fifth goal.
- Within the first 27 seconds of the fourth, Johnson got her third to get the score to 16-6.
- In the final 12 minutes, the hosts scored three more to get to the final score. Â
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Babbage recorded yet another start with double-digit saves, getting 13 saves overall in the game. It was her fourth straight game with at least 10 saves.
- Johnson got her third hat trick this season with her three-goal effort.
- Clears were nearly equal, with St. Bonaventure leading the categort 14-12. Â
