PHILADELPHIA – Explorers track & field competed in the Penn Relays during the weekend, with entries in the men's 1500-meter run, the men's 10k, the men's 4x400-meter relay, and the women's 4x100-meter relay.

HOW THEY FINISHED:
- Callum Murray placed 28th in the 1500-meter run with a time of 3:48.5, a new personal best for him.
- Finn Birnie raced the 10k in 30:26.97 to get a 12th place finish.
- On Day 2, the women's 4x100-meter relay team of Adaugo Ilonze, Soleil Morrison, Marionna Logan, and Nevaeh Davis won its preliminary heat with a time of 47.35 to qualify for the finals the next day.
- The men's 4x400-meter relay team of Evan Dias, Gavin Andrews, Justice Quainoo, and Hamidou Samasa placed ninth with a time of 3:21.25, qualifying for the finals as well.
- On the next day, the women's team won its race in the college 4x100-meter relay eastern event.
- The men's 4x400-meter relay team placed fourth overall in its event.
UP NEXT
- The La Salle track & field teams travel to George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va. to compete in the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Conference Championships next weekend. The two-day meet starts Saturday, May 3 at 2:30 p.m.
