Track & Field Compete in Sam Howell Invite

Princeton, N.J. – La Salle men's and women's track & field took part in the Sam Howell Invitational Friday afternoon, which was held at the campus of Princeton University.

HOW THEY FINISHED (WOMEN)

Gwenno Goode continued her early dominance this outdoor season, winning the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:21.91.
Neve Moulai got seventh in the same race, finishing in 4:33.86, while Georgia-Rose Dawson placed 12^th with a time of 4:36.69.
In the 5k run, Amelia Green got a top-five finish with her 17:56.77 performance.
Stella Hammond got second in the 10k, getting it done in 37:43.34.
Gillian Lovett just went sub-11 in the 3k steeple, completing the event in 10:59.98.

HOW THEY FINISHED (MEN):

Chanel Muir made sure La Salle won both 1500-meter events, as he took the crown with his time of 3:44.52, a new meet record.
Callum Murray was ninth in the event, going 3:50.03 in the race.
Bram van Druten placed fifth in the 5k race with his time of 14:12.41.
Also in that event was Finn Birnie, who got ninth in the race, finishing in 14:30.02.
David Butts was runner-up in the 3k steeple, completing the event in a time of 8:55.49.

UP NEXT

The Explorers will go to Lewisburg, Pa. next weekend to run in the Bison Outdoor Classic. The meet will start Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and will be streamed on FloSports.
