PHILADELPHIA – La Salle men's soccer will play in the Spring Philly 6 Cup Final this Saturday against Saint Joseph's at 7:00 p.m. The game will be held at WSFS Complex Field 4 in Chester, Pa., home to the MLS club Philadelphia Union. 

The Explorers won each of its North Pod games to clinch a spot in the final, defeating Rider 1-0 on March 28 at McCarthy Stadium, then winning against Temple by a score of 2-1 in an away match against April 4. The squad takes on the Hawks, who finished first in the South Pod to solidify its spot in the final.

In addition, WSFS Complex will host third- and fifth-place matchups for the Spring Philly 6 Cup the same day. Rider will play Drexel in the third-place game on Field 5, while Temple and Villanova will face off in the fifth-place game on Field 6.

The games will all start at 7:00 p.m., and they are free and open to the public.
