WASHINGTON, D.C. – Graduate student forward Justyce Hollenbach was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals, including a game-winning goal, in a pair of victories for the Explorers.
In the 5-2 win at VCU on Oct. 11, Hollenbach extended her goal streak to three games and recorded her third multi-goal game of the season, bringing her Atlantic 10-leading total to 10 goals. Hollenbach has netted 24 career goals, including five in conference play this season, which is tied for the most in the league.
Against VCU, La Salle struck first in the ninth minute as Hollenbach buried a shot into the top of the net off a feed from freshman forward Shiloh Moore. In the 21st minute, Hollenbach placed a right-footed strike into the top left corner to give La Salle a 2-0 lead, scoring off a pass from junior midfielder Taylor Jourdanais.
Hollenbach became one of just 15 players nationwide to record 10 goals in 2026. Hollenbach became the first Explorer to score 10 goals in a season since Haley Gschrey netted 10 in 2024.
In a 2-0 home win over Richmond on Oct. 8, Hollenbach scored the game-winner on a header in the 27th minute.
Hollenbach was also named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 8 after recording a hat trick against Howard.
The Explorers will travel to face Fordham (5-7-1, 2-4 A10) on Sunday, Oct. 18. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Moglia Stadium at Jack Coffey Field.
