Box Score PHILADELPHIA, PA – La Salle women's lacrosse endured a challenging 22-9 defeat at Saint Joseph's on Saturday afternoon in Atlantic 10 Conference play. The Explorers fell to 3-10 overall and 0-5 in the league.
Senior attacker Emi Waldron led the Explorers with two goals and two assists for four points, tying her season high in helpersÂ
Sophomore attacker Zoe Francone tallied a multi-point effort with a goal and assist, while senior attacker Jade Shearer and junior midfielder Mia Riccitelli each added a goal and three draw controls. Klein, Kate Licciardi, Norris and Staples each scored once.

In goal, Mary Babbage finished with seven saves in the start, while Brooke Nelson came on in relief and recorded eight saves—together combining for a season-high 17 stops.
La Salle opened the rivalry game on the front foot, grabbing an early 2-0 lead behind goals from Norris and Klein.
The Hawks answered immediately, rolling off 10 consecutive goals spanning the first and second quarters to build a decisive 10-2 advantage.
The Explorers fought to the end, matching the Hawks 2-2 in the fourth, with late goals from Shearer and Staples on free-position shots.
La Salle returns home to McCarthy Stadium to face Richmond on Saturday, April 4 at 11 a.m.
