Acro & Tumbling Senior Day

Acro & Tumbling Wins Every Heat, Sets Program Records In Points, Margin Of Victory In Senior Day Win

Arlington, VA – La Salle won every single heat of the meet while setting a program record for points scored and margin of victory, defeating Georgian Court, 254.735-215.295, to complete a perfect Senior Day Sunday in the Explorers' home finale of the 2026 season.

Graduate students Esha Nagireddi and Ayanna Khalid-Manning were honored as La Salle celebrated the two who were competing in their final home meet. Moments later, the Explorers were announced winners for the fifth time this season.

With one meet remaining on the season, La Salle is 5-1 in its inaugural season. The team's final meet is arguably its largest, as the Explorers will face Duquesne in the season finale on April 9 in Pittsburgh. Duquesne is the highest-ranked opponent on La Salle's schedule, having come in at No. 9 in the latest NCATA rankings this week.

In addition to setting a program-best overall score and margin of victory, the Explorers set new program marks in the Compulsory, Tumbling, and Team events.

The first record set came in the Compulsory – the opening event of the afternoon. La Salle scored a 35.700 to set the new mark.

La Salle's 53.075 set the new program record in Tumbling, and the Explorers shattered the previous record by over five points with an 85.560 score in the Team. Notably, the Explorers also improved over 15 points upon their team score from Thursday night's victory at LIU.
