Lexington, KY – For the fifth consecutive year, the La Salle University track and field teams will send four student-athletes to NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Regionals.
Junior
Gwenno Goode will race in her third consecutive outdoor regionals after winning the Atlantic 10 title in the 3k steeplechase with a time of 10:08.08, her second win in that event in three years at the outdoor championships.
On the men's side, freshmen
Jacob Gardner and Sean Cronin will be joined by senior
Chanel Muir.
Gardner placed fifth overall in the 3k steeple at the A-10 Championship meet with a time of 9:11.68 after clocking in at 8:48.92 at Penn Relays. Cronin placed fourth in the 1500-meter run (4:04.74) at the A-10 Championship meet and has a season-best time of 3:40.26 in the event, whereas senior
Chanel Muir placed fifth (4:06.18) at A-10 Championships and ran a 3:41.22 in the event earlier this year.
All four Explorers will compete at the Regional Meet in Lexington, KY, which will take place between Wednesday, May 27 and Saturday, May 30, 2026.
