Philadelphia, PA – The La Salle women's lacrosse program was named a 2026 Academic Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Wednesday, and 12 student-athletes were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
During the spring semester, the Explorers posted a team GPA of 3.70, exceeding the IWLCA's minimum requirement of a 3.2 GPA to qualify as an honor squad. La Salle also had six student-athletes achieve a 4.0 GPA this spring.
Only juniors, seniors, and graduate students were eligible for the honor roll and needed a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.Â
All seven seniors, Mary Babbage, Melissa Hewitt, Sam Klein, Molly Maloney, Jenna Pickard, Jade Shearer, and Emi Waldron, were selected, while juniors Emma Brull, Kate Licciardi, Kayla Norris, Mia Riccitelli, and Natalie Riccitelli also achieved the honor.
Klein was also named a 2026 Atlantic 10 All-Academic selection, finishing her career with a 4.0 cumulative GPA. Hewitt, Norris, Pickard, Shearer, and freshman Kyra Urick also achieved a 4.0 GPA for the spring semester.
