PHILADELPHIA - For the second year in a row, La Salle's men's and women's soccer teams will combine efforts for an alumni event at the Philadelphia Union game on Saturday, June 11. The two teams will host a 2:00 pm pregame reception, followed by the Union vs. Real Salt Lake at 4:00 pm. Come join the La Salle Soccer coaching staff and fellow soccer alumni to support the Union on the pitch at beautiful PPL Park. All friends and supporters of La Salle Athletics are welcome and encouraged to attend.

For a ticket to the game and food and beverage at the pregame reception, the cost is $35 per person. If you already have a ticket to the game, the cost for food and beverage is $5 per person. The reception will take place in the plaza area on the southwest side of the stadium adjacent to Lot B. Ryan Richter ’11 is currently in his first year on the Union roster after signing a contract with the team in early March. In January, Richter was drafted fifth overall in the 2011 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft. He is the second Explorer to be selected by an MLS team, as Cesidio Colasante was picked in the 1997 MLS Draft by the New York/New Jersey MetroStars.
