PHILADELPHIA - Leah Garrison picked up a victory at No. 3 singles as the Explorers fell to Villanova, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon. Saint Bonaventure proved a tough opponent for La Salle as well, as the team lost 7-0 to the Bonnies on Sunday morning.

Against Villanova, Garrison picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over Emily Urda. 

The Explorers dropped the doubles point after being swept by Villanova.

Facing Saint Bonaventure, Kiara Smith and Garrison defeated their opponents 8-5 in No. 1 doubles, but that was the only win the Explorers could muster on the day.

Amrein forced Andrea Pavloic of Saint Bonaventure to a tiebreak in their first set, but ultimately lost 7-6 (7-3), 6-0.
