Box Score PHILADELPHIA - Senior
Aleks Nikolic won her third consecutive singles match and was victorious for the fourth time in her last six outings for the La Salle women's tennis team, who fell to Jefferson by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Despite a hard-fought match at No. 2 doubles, Jefferson prevailed in both contested doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead.
- All four of the singles matches would go to a third set, with the Rams pulling out three of them.
- Freshman Lauren Landstrom took the first set of her match at No. 2, as did Nikolic at No. 4.
- A pair of La Salle competitors rebounded from first-set losses as freshman Isa Leano forced a third set with a 6-2 win at No. 1, while senior Jazmin Walle broke late in the second set of her match at No. 3 to force the decisive frame.
- In the end, Nikolic was the lone Explorer to come out on top as she took the third set against Eryn Nguyen, 6-1.Â

- La Salle is scheduled to close out its regular season on Sunday, April 25 at Saint Joseph's, before Atlantic 10 Championships begin on Wednesday, April 28.
