Box Score 1 PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's tennis team had back-to-back matches on Friday and Saturday afternoons, with Rider and Temple both coming out victorious.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- La Salle held strong in doubles action during both matches, with the Broncs taking No. 2 doubles, 6-4, to earn the point.
- Freshmen Isa Leano and Lauren Landstrom were trailing 5-4 in their match at No. 1 against Rider, and had a tough 6-3 loss against the Owls.
- In singles, Leano put together a tough battle against Rider's No. 1 player, Leila Koster, falling 6-3, 6-4.
- Senior Aleks Nikolic won five games off her Temple opponent, Oyku Boz, at No. 4.
