Washington Named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Renee Washington has been named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week for November 5. The recognition marks the fourth time Washington has been given the nod, including the second time this season.

Washington recorded the game winning assist against Butler in the Atlantic 10 semifinal and the game winning goal in overtime in the Atlantic 10 championshp to propel the Explorers to their first-ever conference title and head coach Payl Royal's 100th career win at the school. The goal was Washington's seventh on the season, placing her third all-time for career goals (30) and fourth all-time in career points (76).
