PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's basketball squad takes its final regular season roadtrip on Wednesday when the Explorers travel to Washington, D.C., for a 7 p.m. tilt at George Washington.
The Explorers topped the Colonials last season, 73-64, at Tom Gola Arena.
Scouting La Salle (12-15, 6-6 Atlantic 10)...
The Explorers look to bounce back from a hard loss at Duquesne, where they fell 82-52.
Jordan Mosley was the lone Explorer in double figures, netting 10 points. All 13 eligible players saw time, with senior walk-on
Michele McCaughern playing a team-best and career-high 25 minutes. Junior walk-on
Nikki Ortiz saw 14 minutes, and made the most of those minutes by pulling down a career-high seven rebounds and dishing out a career-best three assists against the Dukes.
Ruvanna Campbell grabbed a team-high eight rebounds against the Dukes and blocked two shots to bring her season total to 40. She needs five more to move into a third-place tie on the all-time single season list.
Brittany Wilson and
Alexis Scott remain the two Explorers averaging double figures, with Wilson scoring 13.7 ppg and Scott chipping in 12.6 ppg.
Nadia Duncan remains in second in the league rankings in field goal percentage, hitting 55.0 percent of her shots overall and 61.7 percent in league play.
Scouting George Washington (11-15, 4-8 Atlantic 10)...
The Colonials are also looking to bounce back from a loss, dropping a 56-53 decision to Massachusetts on Sunday in Amherst. Tara Booker recorded a double-double in the loss, pouring in a game-high 20 points and pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds.
Booker (11.8 ppg) and Danni Jackson (12.3 ppg) are the two Colonials averaging double figures. Booker also adds a team-second-best 6.9 rebounds per game. Brooke Wilson is the team's leading rebounder at 7.0 rpg.

The Explorers wrap up the regular season on Saturday (2/25) against Big 5 foe Temple. Saturday marks the annual Senior Day celebration, with the team's seniors being honored in a pre-game ceremony.
