PHILADELPHIA – The Explorers' dropped an indoor match to Atlantic 10 rival Temple, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center.
 
La Salle dropped its three doubles matches to start the competition.  Temple then won at 1, 6, then 5 singles to clinch the match.
 
De'Sean Fennell played a tough match at No. 2 singles, forcing Dmitry Vizhunov  to an extra game in the first set before falling 7-5.  Fennell then dropped the second set by a score of 6-2.
 
La Salle will have a challenging schedule ahead with a home match against Loyola (Md.) tomorrow and will then travel to face Fordham in the Bronx on Saturday.
