PHILADELPHIA – La Salle women's soccer has been named the 2012 Team of the Year by PhillySoccerPage.net after remaining undefeated in Atlantic 10 play for the second consecutive season, winning its first-ever A-10 Championship and advancing to the NCAA tournament for the second time in as many years.

The award, voted on by Philly Soccer Page writers, is among the site's “Best of 2012” awards that name winners for 29 categories in total.
