PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's basketball team travels to Richmond on Monday for one final tune-up before Atlantic 10 play starts next weekend. The Explorers take on the host Spiders at the Robins Center at 7 p.m. in a game that does not count toward league standings due to this year's Atlantic 10 scheduling format.

The Match-Up
Richmond owns a 13-6 advantage in the series that dates back to 1987. The Explorers last topped the Spiders on Jan. 6, 2006, a 59-58 nailbiter on Richmond's home court. The Spiders won last year's meeting at the Robins Center, 74-70.
Scouting the Explorers
The Explorers came up just short at Rutgers on Wednesday, dropping a 54-50 decision to the Scarlet Knights.
Shanel Harrison scored a game-high 17 points, all in the second half, to lead the Explorer effort.
Brittany Wilson added 12 points, with 10 of those coming at the free throw line, and
Jordan Mosley chipped in 10 points.
Wilson remains the Atlantic 10 scoring leader with 18.3 ppg, while also leading the La Salle squad with 6.5 rebounds per game. She adds a team-best 2.6 assists per game as well. Harrison and
Ebonee Jones each contribute 9.8 points per contest. Harrison is second on the squad in rebounding with 6.0 rpg and Jones chips in 4.5 rpg.
Scouting the Spiders
Richmond rallied from an 18-point deficit to top Navy 65-59 on Friday night at the Robins Center. Becca Wann led Richmond with 17 points off the bench, while Kristina King added 13 and Rachael Bilney chipped in 10.
A trio of Spiders average double figures, led by King's 13.7 points per game. Bilney adds 11.9 and Genevieve Okoro contributes 10.3 points. Wann, also a Richmond soccer standout, is just shy of double figures with 9.9 points per outing.
Defensively, Okoro averages 11.0 rebounds per game. Liz Brown has rejected a team-best 23 shots and Ryann Dannelly has also blocked 18.
Next Up
The Explorers open Atlantic 10 play on Saturday (1/12) when they host Rhode Island at approximately 4:30 p.m. The game is part of a doubleheader with the men's team, which plays at 2 p.m.
