Jersey City, N.J. – The La Salle men's tennis team dropped their first match of the fall season in a 5-2 loss to Saint Peter's.
Junior
Thomas MacLeod earned hard fought victory in singles play with a two set win. The straight set win was scored 6-1, 6-4.
MacLeod also paired up with classmate
Robert Kasinow to earn a victory in doubles play. The pair of Explorers defeated the Peacocks duo 8-3.
La Salle earned another singles point from freshman
Brian Balico. The Paramus, NJ native improved his individual record to 7-2, in the straight set victory. The freshman defeated his opponent in tough first set, 6-2, before earning the win in the second set, 6-0.
The Explorers will take the court next when they host Kutztown on Saturday, October 11th.
