PHILADELPHIA – Jourdan McVicker and Kelsey Haycook have been named CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees, it was announced Thursday. The duo has played a large role in La Salle's 11-4-2 record this season and its back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.

McVicker is a repeat winner, having been named to the all-district team last season. The Explorers are 48-10-6 in games that she has started in her career. The redshirt senior has been a staple of the La Salle defense that has surrendered only 51 goals in its last 72 games (.71 goals/game). She was a second-team all-Atlantic 10 selection last season and was named Most Outstanding Player at the A-10 Tournament as the Explorers won its first-ever outright conference title.

The Metuchen, N.J. native is no stranger to success in the classroom, carrying a 3.67 GPA in her graduate work (MBA) after posting a 3.91 GPA as an undergraduate student. She was an A-10 Academic All-Conference selection a season ago. McVicker was also selected to Betta Gamma Sigma, an international business society which targets the top business students in the country.

Haycook has spent her junior season lighting the pages of the La Salle women's soccer record book ablaze, as she currently ranks second in program history in goals (38) and third in points (91). The Point Pleasant, N.J. native currently leads the A-10 in points (38) is tied for the conference lead in goals (13). She is a two-time all-conference selection and was an NSCAA All-American as a freshman. That season, she was also recognized as a Soccer America First-Team All-Freshman choice along with being named NSCAA All-Region and A-10 Rookie of the Year.

The Point Pleasant Boro product carries a 3.81 GPA as a nutrition major.
