PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's tennis team struggled to against St. Bonaventure as they dropped the match, 6-1.
The Explorers lone victory came from sophomore
Dale Fetterman. The sophomore defeated his opponent in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-3.
“After starting off slow, we couldn't get anything going in any of the other matches” said head coach Ed Colfer.
La Salle also almost received a victory from senior
Trevor Donovan, before he dropped the tiebreaker to his opponent, Javier Ortiz. Donovan fought back to win the second set, 7-6, before dropping the tie breaker 7-5.
The Explorers will return to the court when they host Temple on Thursday.
