PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's tennis team dropped match to city rival Temple, 6-1.
Sophomore
De'Sean Fennell led his team as he earned the lone point for the Explorers. Fennell played a tight match against his opponent earning the victory in a tiebreaker.
The sophomore won the first set 6-4, before dropping the second set 3-6 to force the tiebreaker. Fennell was no match for his opponent as he outscored his opponent in the tiebreaker 10-2.

Trevor Donovan to win the only doubles match for the Explorers. A hard fought battle gave the Explorers the opportunity to gain the doubles point, but received only one victory. Fennell and Donovan edged out a pair of Owls, 8-4.
The Explorers next match will be Friday when they travel to Camden to take on the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers-Camden.
