PHILADELPHIA – The women's tennis team defeated Millersville University at home, 6-1.
 
The Explorers were led by senior Chloe Trave, who won two straight sets in her singles match. The senior paired up with sophomore Margot Tovia to earn the 8-2 victory.
 
La Salle earned a singles victory in the number one position from senior Caitlin Coelho. The senior defeated her opponent in straight sets.
 
"The team has matured over the past year and it has shown on the court. The hard work by the girls shows every time they show up for practice and matches" said head coach Tony Green.
 
La Salle won both doubles matches to earn the point.
 
The Explorers take the court on September 30 when they meet Philadelphia University.
