KUTZTOWN, Pa. -Â The La Salle men's tennis team dropped their third straight match Tuesday afternoon, 7-2 to host Kutztown University.
Mark Robinson had a solid day for the Explorers, playing a role in both points scored by the Explorers as he won his singles and doubles match.

With the match starting with doubles competition, the Explorers were only able to snag one point from the three matches as sophomores
Mark Robinson and
Brian Balico picked up an 8-5 win over Maguire/Nogara Souza from Kutztown. The rest of the doubles action included seniors
Thomas MacLeod and
Andrew O'Connell dropping an 8-2 decision to Desai/Beebe, and seniors
De'Sean Fennell and
Dale Fetterman falling in a tight 8-6 decision in the doubles one spot.

Robinson again produced for the Explorers in the singles part of the match as in the fifth position he was able to defeat Gabriel Nogara Souza 6-3, 1-6, 10-0 to earn another point for the team. Unfortunately that was the only singles point that La Salle would earn as the rest of the team dropped their matches.

De'Sean Fennell dropped the No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-0; while at no. 2 singles
Brian Balico dropped two tight sets 6-4, 6-3.

Dale Fetterman came up short in the no. 3 hole, dropping his match in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.
Thomas MacLeod dropped a narrow decision 7-5, 6-2 at no. 4. To round out the singles results
Andrew O'Connell fell 6-3, 6-1 in the no. 6 spot.

The Explorers return to action this Friday October 3 when they host Philadelphia rival Chestnut Hill College at 2 p.m. on the Belfield Courts at La Salle.Â
