Philadelphia – The La Salle women's tennis team dropped a tough match against St. Francis, 5-0.
The Explorers had a tough time getting started after dropping both doubles matches. Senior Cailtin Coelho and junior
Celesta Smith had a strong showing in the number ones position, but could not come away with the win.
"We are getting stronger and better with each match, but today was a tough match against a really good team" said head coach
Tony Green.
The record for the Explorers drops to 2-7, with an 0-4 record to start off the spring season.
La Salle will take the court next on Wednesday when they host cross-city rival, Saint Joseph's at 3 PM at the Belfield Courts.
