Olean, N.Y. – The La Salle men's tennis dropped a tough match to Atlantic 10 Conference opponent, St. Bonaventure, 7-0.
Senior
Chas Berenato almost stole a set in the number one position, but could not gain the momentum. Berenato was sit down in two straight sets, but did not go down quietly. The senior lost with a score of 6-4, 6-2.
In other singles play, freshman
Mark Robinson fought hard in the number six position. The freshman played a tiebreaker in the first set, 7-5, but dropped the second set with a score of 6-3.
In doubles play, the Explorers could not get anything going. La Salle dropped all three doubles matches, but almost stole one in the number three positon. Robinson and junior
Thomas MacLeod battled their opponent to a tough 8-5 loss.
The Explorers will take the court next on Tuesday when they travel to play Rider.
