PRINCETON, N.J.-The La Salle men's cross country team finished in fourth place of two separate meets on Saturday. The Explorers had strong performances at both the Princeton Invitational and the Leopard Invitational.

All five runners who ran at the Princeton Invitational finished in the top 40 of the 181 runner field at the Princeton Invitational. The Explorers scored 124 points to finish in fourth place out of 21 total teams. La Salle was also the top finishing Atlantic 10 team in the race beating out Duquesne and St. Joseph's.

Junior
Bradley Heuer led the way with a time of 24:26.8 on the 8k course. Heuer crossed in 13
th place in the 181 man field finishing just 33:8 seconds behind the winner.

Junior
Francis Ferruzzi turned in a top 20 time as well finishing with a time of 24:26.8 to earn 17 points for the Explorers. Senior
Brendan Robertson was the third La Salle runner to cross the line in 22
nd place thanks to running a time of 24:34.0.

Senior
Stephen Lewandowski finished in 33
rd place thanks to a time of 24:51.3. Graduate student earned 39 points for the Explorers thanks to a 40
th place finish with a time of 24:56.7.

At the Leopard Invitational the Explorers finished in fourth place out of nine Division 1 programs thanks to its 118 points. All five of the La Salle scorers finished in the top 30 point scorers on the day.

Juniors
David Ozarowski and
Chris Berry were the first two across the line for La Salle at Lafayette. Ozarowski ran a 26:23.7 to finish in 18
th place earning 15 points on the 8k course with 133 runners. Berry ran a 26:35.19 time to finish in 25
th place earning 20 points.

A pair of seniors were the next two across the line for La Salle with Time Flanagan (32
nd place, 26 points) running a 26:46.3 while
Chris Trimble ran a 26:54.8 for 35
th place and 27 points.

The final point scorer on the day was junior
Ryan Magnus who ran a 27:04.7 for 30 points in 38
th place.

Sophomore
Nick Lefavor (27:21.5, 46
th place) and freshman
Clint Corso (27:32.5, 50
th place) were the next two finishers who were able to displace the rest of the field.

La Salle returns to action on October 31 as they head to Mechanicsville, Va. for the Atlantic 10 Championships at Pole Green Park.Â
