NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior Jessika Kagan was named to the A-10 All-Conference Second Team while freshman Maci Bower earned an All-Rookie nod, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Kagan was named a Second Team defender after recording six goals and eight assists as a forward a season ago. The Dix Hills, N.Y. native helped La Salle post five shutouts while scoring two goals and adding a pair of assists in 2015.

Bower earns the All-Rookie selection after scoring two goals and adding an assist in 17 games as a true freshman this season. The Millville, Pa. native scored the lone goal in a draw at Saint Louis last week and had an assist in a win over Lehigh in September.  

The sixth-seeded Explorers take on Saint Joseph's at 7:30 PM on Thursday night at Davidson's Alumni Soccer Stadium in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
