PHILADELPHIA- The Phoenix Opening Tournament hosted by Elon scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled due to impending weather.

Forecasts of highs in the mid-20s with a chance of snow has forced Elon to cancel the tournament for this weekend that the Explorers were slated to play UMBC, Youngstown State and Elon.

La Salle will open their season on March 4^th with a double header against Stetson in Deland, Florida followed by participating in the Stetson Classic. The Explorers are slated to play Kansas, Stetson, and Tennessee Chattanooga and a single playoff game as a part of the Classic.
