PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team (0-27, 0-20 A-10) will travel to George Mason (15-17, 9-15 A-10) this weekend for its final series. In three non-conference games, the Explorers and Patriots will play a twin bill on Saturday starting at noon and a single game Sunday at noon. All three will stream nationally on ESPN+.
 
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:

• Rookie Tessa Dodson sits atop the team in hitting with a .311 batting average. Dodson is tied for the team lead in hits (19) with sophomore Maddy Little.
• Sophomore Victoria Zatko is pacing the Blue & Gold in homers, RBIs, total bases, slugging percentage, OPS, runs, and extra base hits.
• Collectively, the Explorers are hitting .223.
• Junior Sarah Dowalo has been La Salle's top pitcher this season. Dowalo has 10 complete games in 21 appearances. She's struck out 42 batters faced in 89.1 innings of work and holds a 6.43 ERA.
• Sophomore Regan Ware completes a two headed attack in the circle for the Explorers. Ware has thrown 55.0 innings of work with six complete games.

SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS:

• Mason claimed its most recent matchup in a doubleheader split with Morgan State before losing 11 straight.
• Rachel Warrens (.321) and Haellie Gordon (.306) lead a Patriots squad that hits .257 on the campaign.
• Warrens leads the team in nearly every statistical category at the plate.
• Three pitchers have made at least 15 appearances for George Mason.
• Bekah Ansbro has a team best 2.29 ERA with 94 punch outs over 88.2 innings of work.
• Gordon adds a 2.84 ERA over her 86.1 innings in the circle.
