PHILADELPHIA- Six women will compete in eight events at the Rider Invitational this Saturday while also having seven compete at the Mason Spring Invitational.

La Salle has seven entries in two events at the Mason Spring Invitational.
Juniors
Kate Conville and
Shannon Dwyer and senior
Cayleigh Solano are entered in the women's 800 meter run at the Mason Spring Invite which will consist of 85 entries. Dwyer has the best time of the group with a 2:15.68 recorded last weekend at the Colonial Relays. Conville has a season best time of 2:16.72 also run last weekend. Solano has yet to run the distance this year but is coming off a 4:38.30 time in the 1500 meters last weekend.Â
Senior
Taylor Hackett, junior
Rebecca Scardelletti and freshmen
Kaitlin Poiesz and
Morgan Szekely are in the 69 women field in the 1500 meter run. Szekely owns the best time of the group finishing in 4:28.93 at the Colonial Relays last weekend for ninth place. Poiesz and Hackett also ran in the race last weekend finishing in 4:39.24 and 4:43.89 respectively. Scardelletti hasn't run the distance since last outdoor season but is coming off a 10:28.06 time in the Colonial Relays in the 3000 meters.Â
Meanwhile the Explorers will also compete in eight events at the Rider Invitational.Â
Sophomore
Amber Jackson will compete in the 45 women long jump field and the triple jump against 26 others. Jackson is coming off competing in both events last weekend at the Colonial Relays jumping 10.54m in the triple jump and 5.18 meters in the long jump.

Two women will enter the 1500 meter run field of 94 as freshman
Alexandria Moraschi and sophomore
Olivia Boyer will represent the Explorers. Moraschi ran 5:12.74 in the event at the Philadelphia College Classic while also running it at Stony Brook where she finished in 12
th place. Boyer has not run the distance collegiately but is coming off an 11
th place performance in the 3000 meter run at the Colonial Relays thanks to a career best time of 10:42.20.

Senior
Britteni Simpson and freshman
Amber Jenkins will compete in the 73 women field for the 400 meter dash. Jenkins ran the distance at the Philadelphia College Classic clocking a time of 1:01.98 for a 12
th place finish. Simpson also last ran the distance at the Philadelphia College Classic where she finished in 1:07.30.

Jenkins will also compete in the 200 meter dash along with 99 total entries. Jenkins ran a 26.80 in the event at the Philadelphia College Classic for a ninth place finish. Jenkins has run every distance between 60 meters and 400 meters between indoors and outdoors.

Senior
Alex Guntle will run in the 800 meter dash along with 67 other entries. Guntle last ran the event at the Stony Brook Spring Opener and her best time this season in the event came at the Philadelphia College Classic where she crossed in 2:59.63 for 25
th place. Â
