Morgan Szekely and senior
Courtney Cramer.

Cramer had the best finish of the day for any Explorer at the Rider Invitational grabbing a third place finish in the 3000m steeplechase. She ran an 11:59.50 in the event setting a personal best while grabbing third place out of the 10 entries to earn the team six points in the process.

Sophomore
Amber Jackson also earned points at Rider as she took sixth place in the long jump and seventh place in the triple jump. In the long jump Jackson used a 5.33 meter leap for sixth place out of 19 entries to grab three team points. In the triple jump she had a total distance of 10.85 meters for seventh place overall.

Meanwhile at the Mason Spring Invitational, freshman
Morgan Szekely took home third place overall in the 1500 meter run. Szekely finished in 4:23.63 for third place out of the 57 entries. The time set a college best for Szekely and improved her time by nearly five seconds from a week ago. The time is also the fastest time in the Atlantic 10 this season by nearly eight seconds.

Also running in the 1500 was freshman
Kaitlin Poiesz and senior
Taylor Hackett. Poiesz turned in a time of 4:40.47 for 20
th place and third place in her head, while Hackett was right behind her with a time of 4:42.54 for 25
th place overall.

Also running in at the Mason Spring Invitational were three Explorers in the 800 meters. Senior
Cayleigh Solano turned in a time of 2:14.70 for a 23
rd place finish in the 78 women field. Her time also gave her the seventh fastest time in the A-10 this season at the distance. Junior
Shannon Dwyer was close behind with a time of 2:15.52 for 25
th overall and second in her heat. The time was a college best for Dwyer and 11
th in the A-10 outdoors this year. Senior
Kate Conville turned in a time of 2:17.63 for a 34
th place finish overall.

Freshman
Amber Jenkins had two strong finishes on the day at the Rider Invitational. She finished in 12
th out of 40 entries in the 200 meter dash thanks to a 26.68 time which set her college best. She also set a college best mark for her in the 400 meters thanks to a 1:01.64 time and 16
th place finish. Senior
Britteni Simpson also ran in the 400 meters finishing in 1:05.37.

Sophomore
Olivia Boyer ran a 5:05.46 in the 1500 meters for a 18
th place finish out of 47 entries. This was Boyer's first time running the distance collegiately. Joining her in the event was freshman
Alexandria Moraschi who ran a 5:18.26 for 37
th place overall.

Senior
Alex Guntle ran a 2:51.06 in the women's 800 meters to finish in 32
nd place overall.

Despite only entering seven events at the Rider Invitational the women's team finished in 21
st place with 11 team points.

La Salle returns to action next weekend as they head to Princeton for the Larry Ellis Princeton Invitational and Widener for the Widener Invitational.Â
