Live ResultsPRINCETON, N.J.- The La Salle track and field program heads to Princeton University to participate in this weekend's ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track and Field Championships beginning on Friday and concluding on Sunday.

The Explorers open the meet with junior
Molly Mickle and freshman
Megan Connell running in the ECAC 5000 meter run race on Friday at 7:40 p.m. The will compete in the 24 women field which is broken up into two heats. Mickle will compete in heat one against nine other runners. She ran a PR in the 5000 meters her last time out with a 17:06.37 run at the Larry Ellis Invitational. Connell will run in the second heat against 13 women. Connell also set a PR in the distance at the Larry Ellis Invitational thanks to a 16:56.85 time.

Saturday will begin with three men competing in the IC4A 1500 meter run prelims. Sophomore
Stephen Lewandowski joins senior
Nick Ross and graduate student
Vince Perozze in the 34 man field. Lewandowski will run in the first heat of the day, he owns a fast 1500 meter time of 3:47.54 which he ran at the Larry Ellis. Ross and Perozze will compete in the third heat. Both ran their fastest times of the season at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier with Ross running a 3:46.74 at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier while Perozze finished in 3:50.40. The top two from each heat plus the next four fastest times will advance to the finals on Sunday.

Freshman
Justin Guerre is next as he will compete in two preliminary rounds on Saturday. First he runs in the IC4A 100 meter dash prelims in a field of 26. He will run in the third heat and owns a PR of 10.90 which he ran at the Colonial Relays. The winner of each heat plus the next 12 fastest times move on the semifinals later on Saturday. Guerre will also run in the 200 meter dash trials on Saturday afternoon. He owns a fast time of 21.56 which he ran in the prelims of the Atlantic 10 Championship. The top eight times advance to the finals on Sunday.

Sophomore
Chris Sanders will run in the IC4A 800 meter run prelims on Saturday afternoon along with 33 other entries. Sanders will run in heat 5 and is coming off a time of 1:50.34 which is his outdoor best from his La Salle career. Â The winner of each heat plus the next three fastest times will advance to the finals on Sunday afternoon.

The La Salle men's and women's 4x800 meter relay teams will also both run. The men run in the prelims along with 17 other teams on Saturday afternoon. The group of Lewandowski, Ross, Sanders and junior
Chris Trimble own the fast time of the season for the men from the Atlantic 10 Championships at 7:30.56. The top two from each heat plus the next five fastest advance to the finals on Sunday.
