Scouting the Explorers-Sophomore
Amy Griffin leads the A-10 in scoring (17.8 ppg) and has scored in double figures in all seven games since returning from injury against North Texas (12/16), including five 20-point games.

Jasmine Alston needs just six steals to catch Carlene Hightower ('08) for 10th on the all-time career list. The junior has 160 thefts on her career, and is leading the A-10 with 2.5 steals per game this season.
-Alston is also close to cracking the all-time career top ten list for assists, needing just 23 dimes to catch Jennifer McGowan ('93). The junior has 280 career assists, and is averaging 5.7 per game this season.

Micahya Owens is 40-for-49 from the foul line this season, which is fourth in the conference in free throw percentage (81.6). The junior is 18-for-20 (90.0%) over her last seven games.

Amber Wilks had two points and three rebounds in eight minutes off the bench on Sunday. Wilks made her first appearance since Robert Morris (11/21) after being sidelined with injury for the previous 11 games.
Scouting the Colonials-GW is off to a perfect 3-0 start in Atlantic 10 Conference play for the third consecutive season. Sunday's victory at Dayton extended their current overall winning streak to eight games.
-Senior Jonquel Jones, who was named A-10 Player of the Week on Monday, registered her 13th double-double in the last 14 contests with 23 points and 15 rebounds at Dayton. It was also Jones' seventh 20-point game of the season and the 20th of her career.
-Caira Washington became the 31st member of GW's 1,000-point club on Sunday, scoring 17 points in 18 minutes of play. The junior also became the 14th Colonial to record 700 career rebounds with five on Sunday.
-The Colonials won the battle of the boards for the 16th straight game, outrebounding the Flyers, 52-41. GW leads the nation in rebounds (52.06 rpg) and is tied with Maryland for the best rebound margin in the nation (+18.2).
-GW recorded 20 assists on 26 made field goals, with six apiece by grad student Lauren Chase and junior Hannah Schaible.
