Men's Cross Country | October 14, 2016

PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle cross country program will send runners to a pair of meets on Saturday, traveling to the Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette and the Princeton Invitational.
 
The Explorers last ran at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh on October 1. Seniors Francis Ferruzzi (24:42) and Stephen Lewandowski (24:51) led the way for the men, finishing 82nd and 97th, respectively, in the 336-man field. 
 
Kaitlin Poiesz was the first Explorer to cross the finish line for the women, placing 87th with a time of 21:17 while Morgan Szekely finished in 135th place (21:42).
 
This is the final tune up for the Explorers prior to the Atlantic 10 Championship on October 29 at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va.
